Ingredients
Measurements:
200 g Italian sausage meat
2 slices burger cheese
4 rashes streaky bacon
Butterat room temperature to spread
2 brioche burger bunssplit in half
2 large eggs
For the maple mustard mayo
2 tbsp mayonnaise
2 tsp maple syrup
1 tsp hot english mustard

To make the maple mustard mayo, place the mayonnaise, maple syrup and mustard in a small bowl. Whisk until smooth, then set aside.

Attach the grill plates to the press. Turn the power button on, select Grill and press the control dial to 8 minutes 30 seconds, then press Heat to start preheating.

Meanwhile, divide the sausage meat into 2 portions and shape each into a patty approximately 8cm wide.

Once preheated, place the patties on the grill and close the lid. Cook for 4 minutes, or until cooked through. Top each patty with a slice of cheese then remove and set aside.

Place the bacon on the grill and close the lid. Cook for 3 minutes, then open the lid and turn the bacon. Close the lid and continue cooking until browned and the timer finishes. Remove from the grill and set aside.

Select Grill, set the time to 6 minutes, and press Heat.

Meanwhile, spread butter over the cut side of the burger buns.

Once preheated, place one burger bun, cut side down, on the grill plate and toast for 2 minutes, or until golden. Remove from the grill and repeat with the remaining bun.

Crack the eggs directly onto the grill plate and close the lid. Cook for 1 to 2 minutes, or until cooked to your liking.

To assemble, top the bun bases with the patty, bacon and egg. Spoon over the maple mustard mayo, then sandwich with the bun tops and serve immediately.
