Cut the tomatoes in half horizontally. Using the large side of a box grater, grate the tomato flesh into a bowl, discard the skin. Add the salt and 1 teaspoon of the oil and stir.
Cut the ciabatta rolls in half and brush the cut side with the remaining oil.
Place the rolls in the toaster with the cut side facing out. Select Crumpet and press Start to toast.
Rub the cut side of the garlic over the oiled side of the toast. Spoon over the tomato mixture. Cut each piece into 3 fingers and serve.
