Ingredients


Measurements:

  • large oxheart tomato icon
    3 large oxheart tomatoes
  • sea salt icon
    ½ tsp sea salt
  • extra-virgin olive oil icon
    2 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil

    divided

  • ciabatta roll icon
    2 ciabatta rolls
  • clove garlic icon
    2 cloves garlic

    halved

Instructions

  • 1Cut the tomatoes in half horizontally. Using the large side of a box grater, grate the tomato flesh into a bowl, discard the skin. Add the salt and 1 teaspoon of the oil and stir.
  • 2Cut the ciabatta rolls in half and brush the cut side with the remaining oil.
  • 3Place the rolls in the toaster with the cut side facing out. Select Crumpet and press Start to toast.
    Tip: Select your preferred toasting shade.
  • 4Rub the cut side of the garlic over the oiled side of the toast. Spoon over the tomato mixture. Cut each piece into 3 fingers and serve.
    Tip: You can also serve topped with anchovy fillets.
