Ingredients
Measurements:
- 3 large oxheart tomatoes
- ½ tsp sea salt
- 2 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
divided
- 2 ciabatta rolls
- 2 cloves garlic
halved
Instructions
- 1Cut the tomatoes in half horizontally. Using the large side of a box grater, grate the tomato flesh into a bowl, discard the skin. Add the salt and 1 teaspoon of the oil and stir.
- 2Cut the ciabatta rolls in half and brush the cut side with the remaining oil.
- 3Place the rolls in the toaster with the cut side facing out. Select Crumpet and press Start to toast.Tip: Select your preferred toasting shade.
- 4Rub the cut side of the garlic over the oiled side of the toast. Spoon over the tomato mixture. Cut each piece into 3 fingers and serve. Tip: You can also serve topped with anchovy fillets.
