Ingredients


Measurements:

Marinade

  • white miso paste icon
    ½ cup white miso paste
  • mirin icon
    ¼ cup mirin
  • sake icon
    ¼ cup sake
  • sugar icon
    2 tbsp sugar
  • clove garlic icon
    2 cloves garlic

    minced

  • 1-inch piece ginger icon
    1-inch piece ginger

    minced

Salmon

  • salmon fillet icon
    4 x 6 oz salmon fillets

    1-inch thick

Instructions

  • 1Combine marinade ingredients in a medium bowl and whisk well. Place salmon fillets in a large zip-top bag and pour over marinade. Refrigerate for at least 24 and up to 48 hours, flipping the bag over occasionally to redistribute marinade.
  • 2Insert the wire rack into position 3. Select Phase Cook for P1 and set the oven to Bake, No Fan, 400°F, for 8 minutes. Press Confirm for P2 and set the oven to Broil, High, for 4 minutes and press Start to preheat.
  • 3Line the roasting pan with parchment paper or aluminum foil. Remove salmon from marinade, allowing excess marinade to drip off. Discard marinade. Place salmon, skin side down, on the roasting pan.
  • 4Once preheated, cook for 8 minutes in P1. The oven will automatically switch to P2. The salmon should be just cooked through and brown on top. Serve immediately.
