Bittersweet and brilliantly bold, this cocktail layers vibrant Aperol, gin, espresso and citrus over slow-melting cold brew ice cubes. Topped with tonic water, it’s a refreshing, eye-catching drink that evolves with every sip.
1Pour the cold brew into an ice cube tray and freeze.
2To serve, place the cold brew ice cubes into a serving glass.
3Place the espresso, Aperol, simple syrup, gin and lemon juice in a cocktail shaker. Fill the shaker with ice and replace the lid. Vigorously shake until combined.
4Strain the contents of the cocktail shaker over the cold brew cubes. Top with tonic water and garnish with a dried orange slice to garnish.
