Ingredients

Measurements:

  • osmanthus sugar syrup icon
    ¾ oz osmanthus sugar syrup
  • ice cube icon
    Ice cubes

    to serve

  • whole milk icon
    5 fl oz whole milk
  • double shot espresso icon
    1 double shot espresso

    chilled

  • dried osmanthus flowers icon
    Dried osmanthus flowers

    to serve

For the osmanthus cream

  • heavy cream icon
    1½ fl oz heavy cream
  • osmanthus sugar syrup icon
    ½ oz osmanthus sugar syrup
  • superfine sugar icon
    1 tsp superfine sugar
  • whole milk icon
    2 tsp whole milk

Instructions

  • 1To make the osmanthus cream, place the cream, osmanthus sugar syrup, sugar and milk in a liquid measuring cup. Whisk (or use a hand frother) until thick but still pouring consistency.
  • 2Place the osmanthus sugar syrup in the bottom of a medium serving glass. Fill with ice and pour in the milk.
  • 3Pour over the chilled espresso and top with the osmanthus cream. Garnish with dried osmanthus flowers to serve.
