A rich and unexpected blend of sweet, salty and bold, this latte layers chilled espresso and milk with a silky salted caramel cream cheese topping. Finished with a crack of pepper and a pinch of pink sea salt for a playful, savory edge.
1To make the salted caramel cream cheese, place the cream, cream cheese, milk and salted caramel sauce in a liquid measuring cup. Whisk (or use a hand frother) until thick but still pouring consistency.
2Drizzle the inside of a tall serving glass with salted caramel sauce. Fill with ice and pour in the milk.
3Pour over the chilled espresso and top with the salted caramel cream cheese. Garnish with pepper and sea salt flakes, to serve.
