Place the beef in a large bowl. Add the cheese, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, pepper, breadcrumbs and egg and using your hands, mix to combine.
Insert the wire rack into position 6. Set the oven to Air Fry, Super Convection, 450°F, for 10 minutes and press Start to preheat. Meanwhile, continue to the next step.
Roll 2 tablespoon amounts of mixture into balls. Place in the air fry basket, evenly spaced apart.
Once preheated, place the roasting pan on the rack to catch any drips during cooking. Insert the basket into position 1 and air fry for 10 minutes. Meanwhile, make the sauce.
To make the burger sauce, place all the sauce ingredients in a small bowl and stir to combine.
The meatballs should be golden brown and cooked through. If not, air fry them a little longer.
Your meatballs are golden, juicy, and ready to go. Serve them up warm with a dollop of burger sauce on the side for dipping, or pop them into a mini bun for a tasty bite-sized burger. Yum!
